Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the DC Buyers Forum website and attending our events, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Event Registration

Eligibility: DC Buyers Forum events are designed for professionals in the data centre industry. We reserve the right to refuse registration to anyone we determine is not a suitable fit for our audience.

Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for events. Providing false information may result in cancellation of your registration.

Transferability: Event registrations are not transferable without prior approval from DC Buyers Forum.

Sponsorship Terms

Presentation Content: Sponsors are responsible for the content of their presentations. All content must be professional, relevant to the data centre industry, and free from offensive material.

Cancellation: Sponsorship cancellations must be made in writing at least 30 days before the event for a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Substitution: Sponsors may substitute speakers with prior notice and approval from DC Buyers Forum.

Payment Terms

All fees are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice unless alternative terms have been agreed.

Event Changes

DC Buyers Forum reserves the right to change event dates, venues, speakers, or programme content. In the event of cancellation by DC Buyers Forum, registered attendees and sponsors will receive a full refund. DC Buyers Forum is not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs.

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, and sponsors are expected to conduct themselves professionally at DC Buyers Forum events. We do not tolerate:

Harassment or discrimination of any kind
Disruptive behaviour during presentations
Aggressive sales tactics or unsolicited marketing
Recording of presentations without permission

Violation of this code may result in removal from the event without refund.

Photography and Recording

DC Buyers Forum may photograph or record events for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to appear in such recordings. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event staff.

Intellectual Property

All content on the DC Buyers Forum website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of DC Buyers Forum or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. Presentation content remains the intellectual property of the respective speakers or sponsors.

Limitation of Liability

DC Buyers Forum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or attendance at our events. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service or event.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
